Water Based Metal Primer

A single pack emulsion based, acrylic copolymer pigmented and filled primer.

Quick drying water borne primer for metallic substrates, Can also be used as a primer on a variety of substrates (testing is recommended) and can be over-coated with a variety of water based and solvent based top coats.

• Excellent adhesion to metallic substrates including suitably prepared hot-dip galvanized substrates.

• Excellent adhesion to ceramic and plastic materials.

• Contains a unique blend of anti-corrosive pigments which retard corrosion of metallic substrates.

• Will accept emulsion and solvent based topcoats.

• Excellent primer for galvanized roofs over- coated with Speccoats Exterior Roof Paint.
