NCS Glossy Index 1950 Original

A high-end glossy fan deck based on NCS, with an easy, practical and intuitive overview of the entire range of 1,950 NCS Original colours, each with a unique glossy finish - including the 200 new light colours introduced in 2004.

The colours in the NCS Glossy Index are divided into five different groups:
grey, yellow (G80Y-Y70R),
red (Y80R-R70B),
blue (R80B-B70G) and
green (B80G-G70Y).

With NCS Glossy the user can illustrate demands more clearly when working with glossed colours and surfaces, control the use and selection of colour more effectively and communicate their requirements better. Used separately, or in conjunction with the semi-matt NCS colour samples, NCS Glossy opens up a whole new level of colour understanding.

NCS Index 1950 Original

NCS Index gives you an easy, practical overview of all the 1950 NCS colours. It combines an intuitive design and layout with a portable design to put NCS Colours at your fingertips in seconds.

The new NCS Index has a clear visual division into grey, yellow (hues G80Y - Y70R), red (Y80R - R70B), blue (R80B - B70G) and green (B80G - G70Y) and intermediate pages make it easy for you to find the colours you need from the 1950 NCS colours. Markings in the NCS Colour Circle and NCS Colour Triangle on each page show the positions of the colours in the NCS system.

It also includes a text describing the NCS system and giving examples of colour combination possibilities in the NCS system.

NCS Colour Scan

Lightweight, easy to use and infinitely adaptable, NCS Colour Scan 2.0 gives the NCS Notation of a selected colour from any surface.

You can now identify colours on walls, render, carpets, furniture, flooring, and clothing - virtually any inspiration object. It also isolates colours within a multi-coloured pattern for developing matching or complementary colour palettes.

It features memory for storing up to 100 colours and lets users add text or voice tags to each entry. Displaying in seconds a colour’s translation information into RGB, CMYK etc.

NCS Colour Scan 2.0 also shows lightness values and gives the colour’s availability and location in different NCS Colour Collections, such as the NCS Exterior and NCS Index.NCS Colour Scan 2.0 even suggests similar colours to help create combinations on-the-go and its built-in pinpoint screen can isolate colours from the smallest of patterns.
