Colourglow Penetrating Stains

Solvent based wood stain. Dye based without binder.

Solvent based stains available in a comprehensive selection of wood and pastel shades. Specifically formulated to give the degree of penetration and depth of colour required. Based on good quality dyestuffs and pigments they exhibit excellent appearance, application properties and light fastness in internal situations.

• Enhances the appearance of the wood grain by soaking into the surface. This gives a 3 dimensional appearance to the wood when coated by the finishing system.

• Due to the restricted solubility of the dyestuffs, the stains do not ‘bleed’ out of the finish.

• Available in a wide range of colours.

• Can be over coated with a variety of sealer and topcoat systems – lacquers, reaction lacquers, polyurethanes and water based finishes.

• No influence on adhesion of subsequent finishes.

• Excellent transparency and visibility of the wood grain.

• Can be shaded using Colourglow Matching.
