Pipetank 2300

Two component solvented Polyamide cured epoxy pigmented coating.

Used as a coating over correctly prepared concrete surfaces, for the corrosion protection of valves, gates, screw pumps, hydroelectric installations, cooling water ducts as well as many applications in the mining industry such as lining thickener tanks, rake arms etc.

• Applied directly onto abrasive blast cleaned steel and built up in multiple coats to thickness of 270-350µm and is self priming.

• This system has been used extensively for water pipelines in Southern Africa since 1973.

• Expected service life in excess of 20 years.

• Excellent adhesion, permeation resistance and corrosion protection.

• Good flexibility and water resistance.

• Good resistance to exterior exposure.

• Immersion temperature resistance up to 80°C.

• Conforms to SANS 1217 Type 1A drinking water requirement.
