AC Catalyst 40

AC WOODLAK®
Catalyst 40

A high-temperature acid catalyst for AC WOODLAK® lacquer systems.

AC WOODLAK® Catalyst 40 is a professional-grade acid catalyst developed specifically for use with the Specialized Coating Systems AC WOODLAK® lacquer range in hot ambient conditions. Formulated with a slow-evaporating solvent blend, it provides controlled curing where standard catalysts dry too quickly.

By delaying surface skinning, Catalyst 40 allows trapped solvents to escape before the coating cures, helping to prevent solvent rash, blushing, and gloss loss. It is the preferred catalyst for producing high-gloss wood finishes in temperatures above 25°C, delivering excellent appearance, durability, and consistent finishing performance.

Pack size: 1L & 5L.
