AC WoodLak^® Filler Primer

A two-component, high-solids alkyd/urea-formaldehyde acid-catalyzed pigmented filler primer.

Designed to seal, prime, and sand easily on solid timber, veneered timber, and MDF — providing excellent adhesion for subsequent reaction lacquers, nitrocellulose lacquers, or polyurethane finishes. Delivers high-build properties, excellent edge filling on MDF, and an exceptionally smooth finish that hides minor imperfections, scratches, and sand marks.

AC WoodLak^® Sanding Sealer

A premium high-build, acid-catalyzed clear sealer designed to create an optimal foundation for topcoat application.

Features rapid drying characteristics and exceptional sanding properties that allow effortless preparation to achieve perfectly smooth surfaces. The advanced formulation provides excellent grain filling and surface levelling while maintaining superior adhesion properties for subsequent coating layers. It also provides excellent clarity when overcoated with clear topcoats, allowing the natural grain and tone of the wood to show through.

AC WoodLak^® (NY) MultiCoat Lacquer

A two-component, solvent-based acid-catalyzed lacquer that functions as both sealer and topcoat in a single product. Once catalyzed, it cures by chemical reaction to form a hard, smooth film with good resistance to everyday spills, fats and oils.

Designed for interior wood, it builds efficiently across multiple coats to give a consistent, high-quality finish — well suited to cabinetry, furniture and joinery where production speed and surface quality matter equally.

AC WoodLak^® Catalyst 20

A standard-grade solvent-borne acid catalyst designed for use with the SCS AC WOODLAK^® lacquer range.

Formulated with a fast-evaporating solvent blend, optimised for cold to warm ambient conditions (10–25°C) and provides reliable crosslinking across all AC lacquer sheen levels. Initiates the acid-catalysed crosslinking reaction in AC WOODLAK^® lacquers, sealers, and primers delivering enhanced hardness, chemical resistance, and durability to the cured film.

The default all-purpose grade and the recommended starting point for most wood finishing applications.

AC WoodLak^® Catalyst 40

A high-temperature grade acid catalyst formulated for the AC WOODLAK^® lacquer range. Designed to provide controlled curing, superior gloss retention, and reliable performance in hot ambient conditions.

AC WoodLak^® Catalyst FD

A low-odour, all-weather acid catalyst formulated for the AC WOODLAK^® lacquer range. Designed to deliver reliable curing, reduced solvent odour, and consistent performance across a wide range of application conditions.
