The Elcometer 1540 Cross Cut Adhesion Tester is a simple instrument for quickly determining the coating adhesion for a large variety of paints up to 50μm thickness. It is made from steel and this cross hatch gauge has 11 tapered teeth with 1mm spacing. Two sets of lines are cut at right angles to obtain a pattern of 100 squares.

The Elcometer 1542 Cross Hatch Adhesion Tester is ideal for measuring the adhesion of coatings on flats surfaces. Measure large or small panels by quickly changing the position of the guide wheel using the hexagonal wrench provided. Each cutter consists of 8 cutting faces, when one face becomes worn, rotate the cutting wheel to the next face. The Elcometer 1542 Cross Hatch Adhesion Tester is available with three different cutter spacings 1, 2 & 3mm for a range of coating thickness.

The Elcometer 106 Pull Off Adhesion Tester is an easy to operate and fully portable Type II adhesion gauge which provides a numerical value for adhesion strength. Applications for the Elcometer 106 Pull Off Adhesion Tester include paint, plasma spray on bridge decking, coatings on steel aluminium, concrete etc. The Elcometer 106 Pull Off Adhesion Tester is supplied in a carrying case making it ideal for test sites.

The Elcometer 106/6 Adhesion Tester has been specifically designed to measure the adhesion strength of coatings on concrete. It operates in a similar way to the regular Elcometer 106 Pull Off Adhesion Tester except the Elcometer 106/6 Adhesion Tester uses a 50mm diameter dolly. Supplied in carry case, it is fully portable making it ideal for use on test sites.

The Elcometer 506 Pull Off Adhesion Testers are lightweight, portable and easy to use adhesion testers available in analogue or digital gauges and are suitable for measuring the pull off adhesion of coatings up to 50 MPa either on-site or in the laboratory. The design ensures that a uniform force can be easily applied throughout the range by smoothly rotating the gauges crank handle, ensuring repeatable adhesion results to an accuracy of +/- 1%. The Elcometer 506 Pull Off Adhesion Tester's quick connect coupling allows the simple attachment of 14.2mm, 20mm or 50mm diameter dollies which, together with a wide range of accessories, allows coating adhesion testing on flat, curved, thick and thin substrates - including metal, wood, concrete, and other fibrous materials.

The Elcometer 510 Automatic Pull Off Adhesion Tester accurately measures the adhesion strength of coatings on a wide range of substrates. The Elcometer 510 Automatic Pull Off Adhesion Tester uses an automatic hydraulic pump, ensuring smooth and continuous pressure application for consistent and repeatable results. Whilst the rate of pull is controlled manually for most pull-off adhesion testers, the Elcometer 510 Automatic Pull-Off Adhesion Tester Gauge allows the rate of pull to be selected, and the gauge applies the preselected rate automatically.
