Coating Inspection, Surface Testing & Flaw Detection Aerosols
AEROTEST® is a specialised range of testing and inspection aerosols designed to assist with surface assessment, defect detection and coating quality control in industrial and protective coating applications. The range includes a three-stage dye penetrant system comprising a cleaner, penetrant and developer for identifying surface-breaking cracks and flaws in suitable materials. Additional products support coating solvent-resistance assessment and the indication of soluble salt contamination on prepared steel surfaces.

AEROTEST® Flaw Detector Cleaner
Solvent based cleaning agent to remove oil, grease & dirt before application of dye penetrant. Forms part of a non-destructive inspection test kit for the detection of cracks or flaws not visible to the naked eye.

AEROTEST® Flaw Detector Penetrant

AEROTEST® MEK Cure Tester
MEK Cure Tester is a non-destructive inspection test designed to provide a fast and reliable method for testing in accordance with ASTM D5402 “Practice for Assessing the Solvent Resistance of Organic Coatings Using Solvent Rubs” and ASTM D 4752 “Measuring MEK Resistance of Ethyl Silicate (Inorganic) Zinc-Rich Primer by Solvent Rub”.

AEROTEST® Weber Rielly Indicator
A low viscosity, white dispersion indicator designed to be sprayed on to freshly abraded steel (minimum SA 2½ of ISO 8501-1) & reacts with soluble salts by turning pink. The higher the concentration of soluble salts, the darker the colour.
