WB HP Acrylic Multicoat Lacquer

SpecWood® WB HP Acrylic MultiCoat Lacquer is a one-component, waterborne self-cross-linking acrylate lacquer for interior wood and furniture. Available as a clear or pigmented finish, it combines self-sealing capability with fast drying, excellent grain accentuation and a tough, durable surface resistant to scratches, stains, moisture and everyday chemical and mechanical stresses.

Intended Uses

SpecWood® WB HP Acrylic MultiCoat Lacquer is formulated for use on interior solid and veneered timber where an attractive, durable clear or pigmented finish is required.

For pigmented systems, it is designed for application over substrates sealed or primed with SpecWood Spray Filler Primer. On suitable timber and veneer, it can also function as a self-sealing multicoat lacquer, reducing the need for a separate sealer.

The product is particularly suited to open-pore finishing where the natural character and grain of the timber should remain visually prominent. Closed-pore finishes can also be produced using multiple coats.

Its resistance to chemical and mechanical stresses makes it suitable for more demanding furniture environments, with the datasheet specifically identifying school furniture and restaurant applications.

Important: SpecWood® WB HP Acrylic MultiCoat Lacquer is intended for interior applications and is not suitable for exterior exposure or immersion conditions.
