Intended Uses
AEROPRIME® Thermoplastic HIGH TACK Primer is a high-performance primer designed for application to concrete & asphalt surfaces and is used for sealing the surface and promoting adhesion of hotmelt thermoplastic road markings. This product is compatible with both hydrocarbon & alkyd-based hotmelt thermoplastics and can be used below PLASTIFORM® Preformed Thermoplastic markings as well.
In no way is this product a substitution for good surface preparation. Standard procedures for surface preparation apply. When used in combination with water based or solvent based road marking systems, it helps to extend the lifetime of the system by creating a moisture barrier between the paint and the road surface, preventing water ingress and delamination.
