SpecNox® Anti-Corrosive Primer is a new generation single component, high build waterborne, acrylate, anti-corrosive primer, for metal substrates with a very high degree of flexibility and elongation.

Intended Uses

SpecNox® Anti-Corrosive Primer is formulated to provide very good adhesion to Iron, steel, special alloys, galvanized & metalized iron & steel, aluminium, copper, zinc and lead etc.

SpecNox® Anti-Corrosive Primer is best used for rust/ corrosion protection & waterproofing of metal substrates as it is highly hydrophobic (water resistant) and will resist impact & rust creep at damaged areas. It is important to ensure the surface has been cleaned and prepared properly before application of product, for best result.

If diluted with water, SpecNox® Anti-Corrosive Primer can be used as an adhesion primer coat on slightly or non-porous substrates as glass, smooth bricks, concrete and ceramic tiles etc.

Although this product has been formulated as a primer. SpecNox® Anti-Corrosive has good resistance to UV degradation & can be used as a monocoat without the need for a top coat.
