ANTI-GRAFFITI
SpecSil Anti-Graffiti is a protective anti-graffiti system developed for various substrate applications, to make unwanted stickers, posters & graffiti easy to remove.
SpecSil Anti-Graffiti is a single component moisture curing silicone elastomer that cures at room temperature.
How it works
The cured coating creates a barrier on walls & substrates applied to, preventing the spray paint used by graffiti artists from penetrating the substrates pores. The coated substrate now provides little adhesion to spray paints & unwanted stickers placed on it, making them easy to remove with a commercially available pressure sprayer.
SpecSil Anti-Graffiti once cured not only acts as a preventive anti-graffiti system helping public & private users keep the removal costs of graffiti & stickers low, its also has high weather resistance properties, protecting the wall or substrate in question from external elements such as the sun, rain and extreme temperatures. SpecSil Anti-Graffiti is a vapour permeable coating & wont block moisture in the buildings outer wall.

Intended Uses
SpecSil Anti-Graffiti shows excellent adhesion to various mineral substrates such as brick, concrete, cement & mortar. This coating system can also be applied to non-mineral substrates such as wood, glass, plastics & metals with the use of a suitable primer.

Please note: SpecSil Anti-Graffiti can be made clear or pigmented in a glossy or matt surface. If clear & glossy are chosen, it will intensify the colour already on the substrate in question.
A Permanent Anti-Graffiti System
Anti-Graffiti systems depending on their durability can be broken into 3 categories: temporary, semi-permanent & permanent. If the anti-graffiti system remains intact after at least 20 attacks & subsequent cleaning, the system would be considered a permant system. Temporary anti-graffiti systems wash off along with the graffiti, the longevity of semi-permanent systems lie somewhere between the two extremes.
