Intended Uses

Epoxy Multi Semi-Conductive Black Eggshell has been specifically developed for applications where external semi-conductive properties are required on GRP, composite, and engineered non-metallic structures. The incorporation of carbon nano-tube technology enables the coating to provide controlled surface conductivity while maintaining the mechanical strength, durability, and chemical resistance expected from a high-performance epoxy coating. It is particularly suitable for industrial equipment, composite enclosures, process plant components, and specialist structures where electrostatic charge dissipation forms part of the design or operational requirements.

Typical Applications:

  • GRP tanks and vessels
  • Composite process equipment
  • Fibreglass reinforced plastic structures
  • Chemical processing equipment
  • GRP ducting systems
  • Composite storage tanks
  • Industrial enclosures
  • Electrical and instrumentation housings
  • Anti-static composite components
  • Electrostatic dissipative surfaces
  • Process plant equipment
  • Industrial fabrication projects
  • Composite covers and panels
  • Mining and mineral processing equipment
