Flexible Waterproof Coating

LEAKSEAL®
Umbrella Rubber

A tough, highly elastic, water-based waterproofing coating that forms a seamless, UV-resistant and durable membrane for flat and pitched roof systems, gutters and areas exposed to standing water.

LEAKSEAL® Umbrella Rubber is a one-component, water-based pure acrylic waterproofing coating with high solids content, engineered to deliver long-term elasticity, crack resistance and waterproofing performance. The coating forms a seamless, durable and UV-resistant film that resists weathering and helps protect roof surfaces from moisture ingress and environmental exposure.

Intended Uses

LEAKSEAL® Umbrella Rubber is designed for seamless, liquid-applied waterproofing systems across a range of exterior roofing and building applications where elasticity, UV resistance and moisture protection are critical.

Designed for use on flat and pitched roofing systems, it offers excellent colour retention and flexibility after curing, supporting movement and thermal expansion without cracking. The coating is also suitable for box gutters and areas where ponding water may occur, providing an elastic, waterproof barrier in challenging roof conditions.

Typical applications include:

  • Flat and pitched roofs requiring an elastic waterproof coating
  • Refurbishment and maintenance of weather-exposed roof areas
  • Box gutters and drainage channels where standing water may occur
  • Parapets, joints and detailing areas requiring crack-bridging performance
  • Problem areas prone to movement, expansion or thermal stress
