Etch 1K Epoxy Primer

A single component, quick drying, polyvinyl butyral modified epoxy primer.

Etch 1K Epoxy Primer is designed to be used as a primer for high temperature applications on metal surfaces prior to the application of a topcoat. It can be used on fireplaces, braais & as a corrosion protection primer for high temperature applications. Etch 1K Epoxy Primer is fast drying offering fast turnaround time and can be used as a weld through primer at low DFT’s.

Etch Primer

A single component, quick drying, polyvinyl butyral/phenolic pigmented etch primer.

Etch Primer is premium quality, fast drying high temperature resistant pre-treatment primer for use on metal surfaces prior to application of a topcoat. Etch Primer is fast drying with high coverage and offers excellent adhesion to hand cleaned steel. It can also be used as a weld through primer at low DFT’s.

Inorganic Zinc Primer

A two component, solvent based inorganic ethyl silicate, moisture curing zinc rich pre-construction primer.

Inorganic Zinc Primer is a high performance metallic zinc pigmented primer for use in offshore & offshore environments. It can be used in high temperature applications, and is ideal for protecting steel that gets top coated in the field – any scratches caused during handing continue to be protected by the high zinc content on the surrounding film.

Fireplace & Grill Paint is designed for application to all types of steel surfaces used in fireplaces, braai's & it can be used as a corrosion protection primer for applications exposed to heat. Fireplace & Grill Paint is characterized by its fast turn-around time, corrosion protection properties, easy application, and adhesion to hand cleaned steel. This product offers excellent adhesion to mild steel, galvanized steel, and aluminium alloys.

A one component, solvent-based silicone/acrylic organic temperature resistant coating available in all colours.

SpecHeat® Silicone 250 Colours is a high temperature resistant coating used to protect steel from corrosion at elevated temperatures. Suitable for flare stack, kilns, flues, furnaces, mufflers, exhausts & hot piping. SpecHeat® Silicone 250 Colours will withstand continuous dry temperatures of 250°C & surges of 300°C.

Available in a wide variety of colours.

SpecHeat® Silicone 540 Aluminium

A single component, aluminium pigmented silicone temperature resistant coating.

SpecHeat® Silicone 540 Aluminium is designed as a heat resistant topcoat for high temperature service. It can be used to protect internal or external steel surfaces and when used over the Inorganic Zinc Primer SpecHeat® Silicone 540 Aluminium will provide corrosion protection in humid environments, but maximum temperature is subsequently reduced to 420°C. Suitable for stacks, furnaces, boilers, jet engines & metal parts operating at elevated temperatures.

Available in a bright leafing aluminium finish.

Temperature resistant to 540°C.

Effective corrosion protection at elevated temperatures.

Effective in humid environments when used in combination with Inorganic Zinc Primer.

Suitable for use on flare stacks, kilns, flues, furnaces, muffler, exhausts, hot piping, stacks & other steel surfaces at elevated temperatures.

A two component, solvent based, high temperature coating based on an air drying/cross linking silicone binder, pigmented with special high temperature colours.

SpecHeat® 2K Silicone 650 Colours is used for the protection of steel from corrosion on areas including flare stacks, kilns, flues, furnaces, mufflers, exhausts, hot piping, stacks & other steel surfaces at elevated temperatures. SpecHeat® 2K Silicone 650 Colours will withstand continuous dry temperatures of 650°C and temperature surges of 700°C.

Ambient temperature curing.

Used for internal and external protection of steel surfaces.

Excellent flexibility.

Excellent adhesion on steel and aluminium.

Excellent abrasion and weathering resistance.

Hard to handle within 4 hours and develops full properties after initial heating up to 200°C.
