Aromatic polyurethane coatings provide tough, durable protection with excellent resistance to abrasion, mechanical wear and a range of chemical exposures. Their strong physical performance and cost-effective formulation make them particularly useful for industrial applications where functional protection is more important than long-term decorative appearance.

Unlike aliphatic polyurethane technology, aromatic polyurethane coatings can discolour or chalk when exposed to prolonged ultraviolet radiation. They are therefore generally better suited to interior applications, areas protected from direct sunlight, or situations where colour and gloss retention are not critical. Typical applications include industrial floors, equipment and protective systems requiring robust mechanical and chemical performance.
