Ammo Mouth Varnish
A phenolic resin modified plasticised bitumen coating for sealing and waterproofing cartridge cases. A single pack, solvent based coating, designed to comply with Defence force standard ‘Waterproofing Compound BP 41 Document No. 107 0016 Issue 1’. Formulated for specific interior applications.

Intended Uses
MILCOAT® Ammo Mouth Varnish Black has been designed specifically for application as a sealing layer applied to the interior top surface of cartridges, to waterproof the seal with the inserted projectile.
It forms a vacuum-tight seal between the cartridge and the projectile.
