Multi Purpose Primer

Epoxy
Multi-Prime

Epoxy Multi Prime is a premium two-component, high-build, polyamide-cured epoxy primer formulated with micronised zinc phosphate pigments to provide exceptional corrosion protection for steel and concrete in demanding industrial environments. The advanced formulation incorporates an enhanced adhesion package that delivers excellent bond strength to steel, galvanised steel, aluminium, stainless steel, GRP, cast iron, concrete, and previously coated epoxy surfaces. Designed for both new construction and industrial maintenance, Epoxy Multi Prime combines rapid drying, outstanding abrasion resistance, and an extended overcoating window, making it ideal for factory application before transportation and final topcoating on site. Its robust corrosion protection and versatile application characteristics make it a preferred primer for structural steel, petrochemical facilities, mining infrastructure, marine environments, and heavy industrial projects.

Intended Uses

Epoxy Multi Prime has been developed as a high-performance anti-corrosive primer for steel and concrete exposed to industrial, coastal, and aggressive atmospheric environments. The zinc phosphate pigmented formulation actively inhibits corrosion while providing excellent adhesion and a durable foundation for complete protective coating systems. It is particularly suited to structural steel fabrication, petrochemical plants, mining operations, pulp and paper mills, power generation facilities, manufacturing plants, and heavy industrial maintenance where reliable corrosion protection and application flexibility are essential. The combination of rapid drying and excellent handling properties also makes it an ideal workshop primer for fabricated steel that must withstand transportation and site handling before final coating.
