Multicoat Lacquer

NC WOODLAK® MultiCoat Lacquer is a one-component, solvent-based modified nitrocellulose sealing and finishing lacquer for MDF, wood and veneer. Available in clear or pigmented finishes and a choice of gloss levels, it combines very fast drying with excellent smoothness, clarity and easy application, making it particularly suited to high-throughput interior furniture production.

Intended Uses

NC WOODLAK MultiCoat Lacquer is intended as a transparent or pigmented sealing and finishing lacquer for MDF, solid wood and veneered surfaces used in interior applications. It can be used for both open- and closed-grain finishing.

The product is specifically positioned for non-working interior surfaces requiring medium durability, rather than demanding exterior or immersion environments.

Its combination of very fast drying and one-component convenience makes it particularly suitable for production-line furniture manufacturing, where reducing processing time between coating operations is important.

For clear finishing, the lacquer provides excellent clarity together with a characteristic wood-warming effect. Pigmented versions can be used where an opaque coloured furniture finish is required.
