WB Pre-Colour
SpecWood® WB PreColour is a one-component, fast-drying, resin-containing water-based penetrating stain developed to enhance and colour bare timber. It penetrates the wood for excellent colour uniformity and depth while enhancing the natural grain, with traditional stain colours as well as solid, RAL and custom colour options available.

Intended Uses
SpecWood® WB PreColour is intended for staining bare wood to beautify the timber, enhance its natural grain and introduce greater depth and uniformity of colour.
Regular stain colours provide excellent transparency, allowing the wood grain to remain visible, while solid colours can be used where darker, richer colour tones with less grain visibility are required.
The stain can also help hide natural variations in timber colour and may be used as the first layer beneath oils to produce richer colours or a more uniform overall appearance.
For exterior applications, the datasheet specifically notes that stain colours such as mahogany should be tinted using transparent iron oxide rather than soluble dyes.
