A high-build, glossy aliphatic polyurethane DTM primer/finish coat with excellent UV stability, corrosion resistance and water resistance for metal roofs, structural steel, machinery, flooring and exterior metalwork.
PU 55 HB DTM Gloss is a two-component, solvent-based, high-build aliphatic polyurethane coating designed for use as both a direct-to-metal (DTM) primer and durable finish coat. Formulated with advanced UV stabilisers, new-generation adhesion promoters and specialised organic corrosion inhibitors, the coating delivers exceptional dry-film water resistance, corrosion protection and long-term weather durability.

Intended Uses
PU 55 HB DTM Gloss is designed for protective and decorative metal coating systems where durability, corrosion resistance and long-term gloss stability are essential.
The cured film provides excellent resistance to mild chemicals, salt water, mineral and vegetable oils, paraffins, aliphatic solvents and dilute industrial chemicals, making it suitable for harsh exterior and industrial service conditions while maintaining a high-gloss, non-yellowing decorative finish.
Suitable for use:
- Direct to metal and galvanised steel, or
- Over compatible primers where specified.
