Chlorinated Rubber Intercoat

CR HB Intercoat

CR HB Intercoat is a single-component high-build chlorinated rubber intermediate coating developed for industrial and protective coating systems operating in corrosive and chemically aggressive environments. The coating provides excellent anti-corrosive performance, resistance to water and chemical splashes, and rapid drying characteristics, making it ideal for maintenance and new construction projects. Suitable for steel, galvanized steel, non-ferrous metals, and mineral substrates when applied as part of a chlorinated rubber coating system.

Available in 5L and 20L pack sizes.

Intended Uses

CR HB Intercoat is designed as a high-build intermediate coat within chlorinated rubber protective coating systems where corrosion protection, chemical resistance, and rapid maintenance turnaround are required. The coating performs exceptionally well in industrial, marine, transportation, and chemical processing environments where steel structures are exposed to moisture, atmospheric contaminants, salt-laden conditions, and intermittent chemical contact. Its fast-drying characteristics and ease of maintenance make it particularly suitable for refurbishment and maintenance coating programmes.
