Polyurethane 250 FR
A fire-retardant, water-based hybrid polyurethane liquid-applied waterproofing membrane for flat and pitched roofs, offering seamless, fully adhered, highly elastic, UV-resistant and durable waterproofing performance for new and refurbished roof systems.
LEAKSEAL® Polyurethane 250 FR is a one-component, water-based hybrid polyurethane elastomeric waterproofing membrane formulated to create a thick, seamless and fully adhered elastic coating for flat and pitched roof systems. The membrane delivers excellent resistance to UV exposure, weathering, chemical and mechanical stress, and — when reinforced — offers outstanding puncture resistance. When installed with the prescribed system build-up and LEAKSEAL® PES Fleece Reinforcing Membrane, the system meets the requirements of ETAG 005 for liquid-applied waterproofing.

Intended Uses
LEAKSEAL® Polyurethane 250 FR is designed for liquid-applied roof waterproofing in both new construction and refurbishment projects, including:
Full-surface waterproofing & detailing
- Flat and pitched roofs
- Complex or limited-access roofs
- Flashings, terminations & roof repairs
- Refurbishment of failing membranes (bituminous, metal, PVC, TPO)
Applied by roller, brush or spray as part of a defined system build-up when certification is required.

- Under-tile waterproofing in wet areas, balconies & terraces
- Polyurethane foam roofs
- Gutters, parapets and vertical interfaces
