PU DTM HB Satin
A high-build satin acrylic polyurethane DTM primer/finish with zinc-phosphate anti-corrosion protection, excellent UV resistance and colour stability for structural steel, roofs, equipment, walls and architectural or industrial metal substrates.
PU DTM HB Satin is a two-pack, solvent-based high-build acrylic polyurethane coating designed for use as both a direct-to-metal (DTM) primer and durable satin finish coat. Formulated with zinc-phosphate anti-corrosive pigmentation, advanced adhesion promoters and UV stabilisers, the coating delivers long-term corrosion resistance, colour stability and superior exterior weathering performance — even in humid and coastal environments.

Intended Uses
PU DTM HB Satin is designed for protective and decorative metal coating systems where a satin appearance, corrosion resistance and UV durability are essential.
The coating provides an exceptionally smooth, silky satin appearance and is highly thixotropic, allowing high-film-build application on vertical surfaces without sagging. When applied by skilled applicators, PU DTM HB Satin can also be used to create a structured spatter finish for decorative effect or to hide surface imperfections.
Suitable for application directly to mild steel, galvanised steel, aluminium and stainless steel, it provides a versatile finishing solution where a semi-matt / satin aesthetic is preferred over traditional high-gloss polyurethane coatings.
