PUMMA Scratch Coat
A self-levelling, elastic PUMMA preparation coat for uneven surfaces, used to level and stabilise rough, irregular or tiled substrates prior to application of PlastiSeal PUMMA waterproofing systems.
PlastiSeal® PUMMA Scratch Coat is a 100%-solids, two-component, elastic polyurethane–methyl methacrylate (PUMMA) self-levelling coating blended with specialised fillers to create a flexible, durable substrate-levelling layer on suitably primed surfaces. The system is designed to fill and hide surface undulations, gaps, holes and grout lines, providing a smooth, uniform base before installing PlastiSeal PUMMA coating systems.

- Ceramic and tiled surfaces (including removed-tile areas)
- Metal plate flooring
- Rough, uneven or damaged surfaces
- Substrates with holes, voids, grout lines and undulations
Typical Applications Include
- Exterior environments
- Interior cold-temperature areas
- Locations subject to thermal movement or structural vibration
It is used as the first layer prior to installation of PlastiSeal PUMMA waterproofing and coating systems.
