SpecShield® Solar is a one-component, water-based elastomeric pure acrylic roof coating engineered for areas exposed to intense solar radiation and heat. Formulated with UV cross-linking technology, the coating forms a high-performance film that becomes tougher over time when exposed to sunlight, maintaining its protective characteristics significantly longer than conventional roof coatings that typically degrade after 2–3 years.

Intended Uses
SpecShield® Solar is designed as a cool-roof, solar-reflective waterproofing system for buildings exposed to high solar radiation and heat loading, where energy efficiency, durability and waterproofing performance are critical.
The coating delivers excellent dirt-pickup resistance, outstanding exterior durability and strong resistance to weathering, helping preserve long-term reflectivity and energy-saving performance. It also incorporates anti-microbial properties, making it particularly suitable for coastal and high-moisture environments where biological growth and environmental stress are common.
