Moisture Barrier Paint

LEAKSEAL®
Vapour Barrier WB

A one-component, water-based acrylic primer with excellent vapour-barrier and water-resistance properties, formulated to stabilise and seal cementitious subfloors before installing wooden, laminate or resin-based flooring systems.

LEAKSEAL® Vapour Barrier WB is a high-performance primer designed for use on both absorbent and non-absorbent subfloors prior to the application of wooden and resinous flooring systems. The primer penetrates and binds dense, weak or dusty cementitious substrates, reinforcing the surface and ensuring a strong, reliable bonding base for flooring adhesives and coverings.

With its excellent water vapour-barrier performance, LEAKSEAL® Vapour Barrier WB helps block excessive residual moisture in concrete slabs and cement screeds (minimum 28-day cure with no visible surface water). It is particularly effective in buildings located in high-water-table areas, where moisture ingress may otherwise damage wooden, parquet, laminate or resin flooring systems. The result is a stable, protected subfloor that supports long-term flooring integrity and performance.
