AEROTEST® Weber Rielly Solvent
AEROTEST® Weber Rielly Solvent is an anhydrous aerosol solvent designed specifically for use with the AEROTEST® Weber Rielly Soluble Salt Test system. It is used for rinsing and cleaning the Indicator aerosol spray nozzle after use and for removing excess Indicator residue and mess generated during soluble ferrous salt testing on prepared steel surfaces.

Although the Solvent itself does not detect salts, it performs an important cleaning and maintenance function within a test method used to assess blast-cleaned steel before coating.
Intended Uses
AEROTEST® Weber Rielly Solvent is intended specifically as the cleaning and rinsing component of the AEROTEST® Weber Rielly Soluble Salt Test system.
Its primary functions are to:
- Rinse and clean the AEROTEST® Weber Rielly Indicator spray nozzle after use.
- Remove excess Indicator residue from the test area.
- Clean accidental mess created during soluble salt testing.
It is important to distinguish the function of the two AEROTEST® Weber Rielly products. The Indicator is the active test product that reacts with soluble ferrous salts and develops a pink colour. The Solvent does not perform the soluble salt test; its role is cleaning and maintenance during and after the test procedure.
