Hot applied solvent free epoxy coating for pipes & tanks. A two component, solvent free amine cured, hot applied epoxy lining pipe & tanks.
Features & Benefits
- Designed for application by plural component hot airless spray equipment
- Can be applied by and heated cartridge spraying
- Can be applied up to 900µm thick onto cold (10°C) pipes in a single application without sagging at 50°C
- Performs well in factory production conditions
- High gloss, hard cured surface produces low friction conditions for pipe internals
- Excellent air release ensures minimum pinholes
- Excellent long-term corrosion resistance under immersion conditions (typical specification - 600µm)
- Used as a high-quality lining for tanks and pipes, applied directly onto suitably prepared steel surfaces in single or multi coat applications
- Excellent adhesion to correctly prepared surfaces
- Resistant against bacterial attack
- Conforms to SANS 1217 Type 1B drinking water requirement
- Pigmented activator ensures mixing control
- Small mixes can be applied by brush on small areas such as pipe ends
