BUTYLEN System 1
BUTYLEN System 1 is a robust field joint coating system for corrosion prevention on pipelines & pipeline components. This system is primarily used for corrosion protection on components with complex geometries or uneven surfaces on pipelines, in power stations and power station construction applications. Thanks to its outstanding flexibility and easy application, BUTYLEN System 1 performs exceptionally well, even on complex geometries, in extreme corrosion conditions and when subject to high mechanical loads.
BUTYLEN System 2
BUTYLEN System 2 is a robust field joint coating system for permanent corrosion prevention on pipelines & pipeline components. This system is ideal for field joint coating, pipe coating and rehabilitation on gas pipelines & gas supply lines. These applications demand an approved system with a highly adaptable inner tape, a tensioning and an outer tape which has proven itself highly stressable in a range of construction conditions, whether wintry conditions at temperatures of -20°C or at the height of summer at +30°C.
BUTYLEN System 3
BUTYLEN System 3 is a robust field joint coating system for permanent corrosion prevention on pipelines and pipeline components. This system is ideal for field joint coating, pipe coating and rehabilitation on gas pipelines and gas supply lines. This is a highly stressable system, and the self-amalgamation effect of the inside tape BUTYLEN-032-65 AS creates a virtually gas and watertight, highly electrically insulating coating.
BUTYLEN System 4
BUYTLEN System 4 is a robust two-tape field coating system for permanent corrosion prevention on pipelines & pipeline components. This system is comprised of two thin, highly adaptable tapes and is ideal for coating pipeline components such as T-pieces, flanges, sleeves or pipe elbows with small nominal pipe sizes. This multi-layer design creates a coating system that can withstand high mechanical and corrosive stresses.
BUTYLEN System 5 & 6
BUTYLEN System 5 & 6 is a robust two-tape field coating system for the permanent corrosion prevention on pipelines & pipeline components. This system is ideal for field joint coating, pipe coating and rehabilitation of pipelines for high corrosive & mechanical loads. This modular solution is comprised of a corrosion prevention tape BUTYLEN-032-65 AS and a mechanical protection tape BUTYLEN-R20 HT. Depending on the number of tape layers of the outside tape, the product achieves stress class B or C of EN 12068.
