Primers & Topcoats
A range of primers and standard or high-performance topcoats for use with bitumen torch-on membranes to form a complete waterproofing system.
Bitumen Primer SB
A one component, solvent based black bitumen primer with good adhesion to a variety of substrates.
Bitumen Primer SB is designed for priming dry concrete decks and is used as a primer for bitumen torch-on waterproofing membranes as part of a complete system. The low viscosity allows for deep penetrating of concrete surfaces and the consolidation of friable surfaces, creating a sound adhesive surface for the application of bituminous torch-on waterproofing membranes.
Bitumen Aluminium Silver
A one component, polymer modified bitumen aluminium reflective paint with excellent flow and brilliance. The advanced polymer modification allows for faster curing, better application, and drastically improved performance properties in comparison to traditional alkyd aluminium paints.
Bitumen Aluminium Silver is used as a decorative & protective reflective coating over tar & bitumen-based surfaces to protect them against ultraviolet degradation. It is used over bitumen torch-on membrane waterproofing systems as a topcoat to reflective UV, provide a decorative effect and increase the life span of the bitumen torch-on membrane waterproofing system.
SpecShield® Solar
SpecShield Solar is a one component, water-based UV cross linking pure acrylic that provides excellent exterior durability, weather & dirt pickup resistance. The UV cross linking technology in the coating creates a high-performance film that is very resistant and gets tougher over time as the film is exposed. SpecShield Solar also has anti-microbial properties which allows this coating to be used in areas exposed to high moisture levels, such as areas by the coast.
SpecShield Solar applied in 2 layers (total DFT 600μm) can be used to repair & prolong the life of existing roof systems through the refurbishment of aged bituminous membranes. Apply in place of reflective aluminium topcoats to provide a 10-year maintenance free system.
LeakSeal® Liquid Rubber Waterproofing
LEAKSEAL® Liquid Rubber Waterproofing is a one component, water based, UV cross-linking pure acrylic waterproofing & roof coating that is UV resistant, durable, elastic & resistant to cracking & weathering. It is highly thixotropic which allows for a good film build on horizontal or vertical surfaces, and it provides roofs with unmatched dirt pickup resistance, ensuring roof surfaces stay clean.
LEAKSEAL® Liquid Rubber Waterproofing is a waterproofing coating that can be used for the refurbishment of bitumen torch-on membranes, PVC or TPO membrane waterproofing systems. LEAKSEAL® Liquid Rubber Waterproofing is available in any colour as well as cool roof solar reflective colours.
LeakSeal® Polyurethane 250 FR
A one component, water-based hybrid polyurethane liquid applied waterproofing system. LEAKSEAL® Polyurethane 250 FR produces a durable, seamless & fully adhered elastic waterproofing coating & is resistant to UV, weathering, chemical & mechanical stresses.
LEAKSEAL® Polyurethane 250 FR is designed as a waterproofing coating for flat roofs in both new construction & refurbishment projects. It is suitable for full surface waterproofing, small & large detailing, repairs & flashings. LEAKSEAL® Polyurethane 250 FR can be used for the refurbishment of aged bituminous membranes in place of a reflective aluminium topcoat to provide a long lasting high performance finish.
SpecShield® Anti-Seepage
A one component, water based elastomeric waterproofing coating formulated on a UV curing pure acrylic resin. SpecShield Anti-Seepage offers outstanding weatherproofing & waterproofing properties with optimum levels of UV resistance, flexibility & durability.
SpecShield Anti-Seepage is a high-performance universal roof waterproofing system and can be used for the refurbishment of aged bituminous membranes in place of a reflective aluminium topcoat to provide a high-performance finish. It can also be used for waterproofing parapet walls, flashings & detailed areas that are not possible to waterproof with bituminous torch-on membranes.
